Wprowadzenie
Zewnętrzne środowiska pracy to te stworzone przez power użytkowników, które nie zostały zintegrowane z głównym kodem źródłowym programu FreeCAD.
Te środowiska pracy nie są wspierane przez główny zespół programistów FreeCAD, dlatego nie są testowane z każdą wersją programu. Pytania, zgłoszenia błędów czy żądania ulepszeń powinny być kierowane wyłącznie do autorów tych środowisk pracy.
Środowiska oznaczone ikonką mogą być zainstalowane przez Menedżer dodatków. W celu ręcznej instalacji zobacz Instalowanie dodatkowych środowisk. Jeśli istnieją szczególne instrukcje lub wymagania do użycia zewnętrznego środowiska, to powinny zostać odnotowane na jego stronie domowej.
Środowiska oznaczone ikonką nie są rekomendowane dla nowych wersji programu FreeCAD. Są one przestarzałe, nieutrzymywane i zastąpione przez nowsze środowisko lub mogą nie działać z Pythonem 3 i Qt5. W większości przypadków powinny być unikane.
Środowiska złożeń
W chwili wydania programu FreeCAD w wersji 0.19 nie było oficjalnego środowiska złożeń. Jednak istnieje szereg zewnętrznych narzędzi tworzonych lub będących w czasie rozwoju, które służą manipulowaniu obiektami w celu budowy złożeń.
Zauważ, że środowiska złożeń są z reguły niekompatybilne między sobą. Jeśli stworzysz złożenie w jednym z nich, powinieneś trzymać się oryginalnego środowiska, i nie używać innego środowiska złożeń w tym samym dokumencie.
Istnieją też środowiska "pseudo złożeń" które nie używają więzów do utrzymania powiązań między częściami, ale po prostu pozycjonują je w przestrzeni.

Poniższa tabela jest uporządkowana tematycznie, ale można zmienić jej układ klikając na dowolny nagłówek kolumny.
