Description

Placement is how FreeCAD specifies the location and attitude (orientation) of an object in space. Placement can be specified in multiple forms and manipulated via scripting, the Properties panel, or the Edit → Placements... dialog.

Usage

  1. Select an object in the tree view.
  2. Use the Edit → Placements... entry in the top menu.
  3. Change the parameters for the translation or rotation, according to the desired action.
  4. Press either the OK or Apply button.
