The '''Std Cut''' command copies objects to the Clipboard, and then erases them from the document.
The implementation of the '''Std Cut''' command is quite limited. It can only be used for [[Spreadsheet_Workbench|spreadsheet cells]]. To cut other objects you can use the [[Std_Copy|Std Copy]] command followed by an erase operation.

* The standard keyboard shortcut {{KEY|Ctrl}}+{{KEY|X}} does not call the '''Std Cut''' command but uses the cut function from the OS instead. You can use this shortcut in many of FreeCAD's text windows and input boxes. The shortcut also works for spreadsheet cells.
* It is not possible to copy-paste objects between FreeCAD and other applications.
