Description

The TechDraw StackTop tool moves Views to the top of the stacking order. The stacking order controls the apparent depth of Views on a page.

Usage

  1. Select one or more Views on a Page or in the Tree view. The selection order is relevant (for TechDraw StackTop and TechDraw StackBottom).
  2. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
    • Press the Move view to top of stack button.
    • Select the TechDraw → Stacking → Move view to top of stack option from the menu.
  3. The ViewStack Order of the Views is changed.

Scripting

See also: TechDraw API and FreeCAD Scripting Basics.

The stacking order can be changed in scripts by changing the StackOrder property of a View's ViewObject.
