Description
The Sketcher SwitchVirtualSpace tool either moves constraints from one virtual space to the other or switches the visible virtual space.
A sketch has two virtual spaces that can contain constraints. All constraints are created in the main virtual space but they can be moved to the other virtual space to help inspect only a few constraints at a time.
Usage
Move constraints
- Select one or more constraints.
- There are several ways to invoke the tool:
- Press the Switch virtual space button.
- Select the Sketch → Sketcher visual → Switch virtual space option from the menu.
- Use the keyboard shortcut: Z then Z.
Switch virtual space
- Make sure no constraints have been selected.
- Invoke the tool as described above.
Notes
- If you decide to use the second virtual space, you should not forget it later.
