Description

The Sketcher RemoveAxesAlignment tool removes axes alignments ( Horizontal, Vertical constraints) from the selected elements by trying to preserve the constraint relationship.

Usage

  1. Select geometry with axes alignments, for example a rectangle.
  2. There are several ways to invoke the command:
    • Press the Remove axes alignment button.
    • Select the Sketch → Sketcher tools → Remove axes alignment option from the menu.
    • Use the keyboard shortcut: Z then R.

As result the (horizontal, vertical constraints) will be removed. In the example of a rectangle, it stays a rectangle but becomes rotatable.
