Description

The Draft Snap Center option snaps to the center point of faces and circular edges, and to the DataPlacement point of Draft WorkingPlaneProxies and Arch BuildingParts. Faces and edges can belong to Draft or Arch objects but also to objects created with other workbenches.

Usage

  1. Make sure Draft ToggleSnap and Snap Center are turned on.
  2. Select a Draft tool to draw a shape, or another suitable Draft tool.
  3. Move the cursor over a circle, an arc, or a face.
  4. A small white square will indicate the object's center point. The target object is highlighted in yellow. For circles and arcs, the circumference is highlighted, for faces the surface.
  5. Click to register the indicated point.
