Description

The Align horizontal tool positions many horizontal dimensions in a chain.

Usage

  1. Select several horizontal dimensions (1) to (3).
  2. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
    • Press the Align Horizontal button.
    • Select the TechDraw → Extensions: Attributes/Modifications → Position Horizontal Chain Dimension option from the menu.
  3. All selected dimensions are positioned in one line.


  • The first selected dimension (1) defines the line on which the dimension chain is positioned.
  • All other dimensions may be selected in any order.
  • The dimension values are centered horizontally.
  • Special hint: when selecting only one dimension, the tool can be used to center the dimension value.
