Description

This tool draws a circle by picking two points: the center, and a point along the radius.
When starting the tool, the mouse pointer changes to a white cross with a red circle icon: . The coordinates of the pointer are shown beside it in blue in real time.

Usage

  1. There are several ways to invoke the command:
    • Press the Center and rim point button.
    • Select the Sketcher → Sketcher geometries → Create circle option from the menu.
    • The keyboard shortcut: G then C.
  2. Pick points on an empty area of the 3D view, or on an existing object (auto constraints must be active in the Task panel).
  3. Pressing Esc or clicking the right mouse button cancels the function.
