Description

The BIM Slab tool creates a Slab object, a horizontal structure element, from a planar shape.

Usage

  1. Optionally select a planar object.
  2. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
    • Press the Slab button.
    • Select the 3D/BIM → Slab option from the menu.
    • Use the keyboard shortcut: S then B.
  3. If you have not yet selected a planar object: select one (as prompted in the Report view).
  4. A new Slab object is created and the tool is finished.
  5. Optionally change some properties in the Property editor.
