A point cloud is a collection of points in 3D space. A point cloud is generally produced by scanning the surface of a solid object. Then the cloud of points can be used for many purposes including building a mesh for the object, reconstructing the surfaces and solid volumes, reverse engineering, as well as for visualization and quality inspection of parts. |

Introducere
Atelierul Points Workbench "Nor de Puncte" a fost creat ca să vă ofere unelte specifice pentru lucrul cu point clouds. Acest Atelier ee află în dezvoltare.
A point cloud is a collection of points in 3D space. A point cloud is generally produced by scanning the surface of a solid object. Then the cloud of points can be used for many purposes including building a mesh for the object, reconstructing the surfaces and solid volumes, reverse engineering, as well as for visualization and quality inspection of parts.
Aceste scule și instrumente sunt deja disponibile:
- Import Point Cloud: will import coordinates for 3D-points from a text file
- Export Point Cloud: will export coordinates for 3D-points to a text file
- Polygon Pick: to do
În momentul de față, Atelierul de lucru pentru norul de puncte nu are rutine automate pentru a face față punctelor importate.
Dar ați putea prin conectarea la biblioteca cloud points (versiunea Windows a FreeCAD are deja această capacitate)

Bineînțeles că ați putea folosi și Atelierul de lucru Draft în cadrul FreeCAD și să conectați punctele folosind elemente de proiect.
Utilizarea "punctului final" al modulului snap-mode va asigura accesarea punctelor.
