Description
This tool creates a surface from two, three or four boundary edges. Three different filling styles are available: Curved, Coons, Stretch. The tool creates a smooth transition between the boundary edges.
How to use
- Press the Fill boundary curves button.
- Select edges in the 3D-view. The edges must connect together in order to give a closed profile.
- Set options and press OK.
Options
Properties
DataFill Type: The applied filling algorithm
- Curved – the style with the most rounded patches.
- Coons – a rounded style with less depth than Curved
- Stretch – the style with the flattest patches
Limitations
It is not possible to apply additional constraints to the surface.
