This tool draws a rectangle by first picking a point that will become the center point, then by picking an edge point. The result is a rectangle like with the [[Sketcher_CreateRectangle|Rectangle]] tool, only the definition points are different. |
|||
When starting the tool, the mouse pointer changes to a white cross with a red rectangle icon. The coordinates of the pointer are shown beside it in blue in real time. |

Description
The Sketcher CreateRectangle Center tool creates a centered rectangle. introduced in version 1.0: This is the same tool as Sketcher CreateRectangle but with a different initial mode.
Usage
See also: Drawing aids.
- There are several ways to invoke the tool:
- Press the Centered rectangle button.
- Select the Sketcher → Sketcher geometries → Create centered rectangle option from the menu.
- Use the keyboard shortcut: G then V.
- For further steps see Sketcher CreateRectangle.
