Hi all, I allowed myself, after agreement with @Wandererfan, to change the illustrations, in order to give them a more "response to a technical need" aspect.
Illustration of complex sections
As for the sections page, after agreement with @Wandererfan, I took the liberty of modifying the illustrations.
"Quarter section" example
This is called in France a half-section view, and according to the standard, a thin dash-dot (which you call dash-dot) separates the two parts of the view.
"Aligned section" example
This is called in France a sectional view with secant planes, and according to the standard, a thin dashed line here also separates the two parts of the view.
