FEM
- FreeCAD generates a input file in Abacus format starts CalculiX (better CCX = CalculiX CrunchiX = The solver of Calculix)
- FreeCAD reads the results
- On Linux Processhandling of CCX is missing therefore CCX has to be started manually
Windows
- Installed vConverged Calculix Pachage which includes CCX (Solver), CGX (graphical Pre- and Postprocessor) SciTE (Editor with Syntaxhighlighting and Integration for making an analysis or start CGX)
- Includes WindowsHelpFile of the official Manual --> C:\Program Files (x86)\bConverged\common\help\bConverged.chm
- SciTE --> load the *.inp file --> Tools --> Solve
- Compare the results with FreeCAD (compare the textfiles) --> Yeah they are nearly identical !!!
- Path in Windows is shown in FreeCAD --> C:\Users\bhb\AppData\Local\Temp\FreeCAD_Doc_SOMEREALLYWILDNUMBER\FemAnl_c6c0
