#* Select the {{MenuCommand|Assembly3 → Import from STEP → [[Image:Assembly_Import.svg‎‎|16px]] Import from STEP}} option from the menu.
#* Select the {{MenuCommand|Assembly → Import from STEP → [[Image:Assembly_Import.svg‎‎|16px]] Import from STEP}} option from the [[Tree_view|Tree view]] context menu or the [[3D_view|3D view]] context menu.
# A file browser opens.
# Select the STEP file to import
