Description[edit | edit source]

The Sketcher CreateEllipseBy3Points tool creates an ellipse from the endpoints of one of its axes and a point along the ellipse. introduced in 1.0: This is the same tool as Sketcher CreateEllipseByCenter but with a different initial mode.

  1. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
    • Press the Ellipse From 3 Points button.
    • Select the Sketch → Geometries → Ellipse From 3 Points option from the menu.
    • Use the keyboard shortcut: G then 3, then E.
