Description
The Templater ToleranceFrame tool creates a tolerance frame or a datum frame as an SVG file and adds it to the selected view.
Usage
- Select a view or any geometry inside the view.
- There are several ways to invoke the tool.
- The Feature frame settings task panel opens.
- Select a Tolerance Type for a tolerance frame, or type a single (upper case) letter for a datum frame.
- If a tolerance type was selected adjust the following values:
- (they will be ignored for a datum frame)
- Optionally edit the Tolerance value.
- Optionally edit each datum field, leave empty if not needed and succeeding fields will be ignored.
- Click Ok to close the task panel and finish the tool.
- A NewSymbol.svg file will be saved in the .../Mod/Templater/Resources folder and added to the selected view as a new FeatureFrame object.
- Drag the FeatureFrame object to its final position.
- Optionally adjust its values by editing the DataEditable Texts property in the Property View

A FeatureFrame is derived from a TechDraw Symbol, formally a TechDraw::DrawViewSymbol object and inherits all its properties.
