Description
The Part PointsFromMesh command creates points objects from geometric objects.
The resulting shapes are compounds of vertices, which can be used as reference to further create lines, sketches and faces with other commands, like those from the Sketcher or the
Draft workbenches.
Usage
- Select one or more objects.
- Select the Part →
Points From Shape option from the menu.
- The Distance in Parameter Space dialog opens.
- Enter a distance value.
- Press the OK button.

The created objects are Part Feature objects with no additional properties.
