The Curves ProfileSupport tool creates a support plane for sketches.

Usage[edit | edit source]

  1. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
    • Press the Profile support plane button.
    • Select the Surfaces → Profile support plane option from the menu.
  2. A Profile object is created.

A Profile object is derived from a Part Feature object and inherits all its properties. It also has the following additional properties:

Profile

  • Data (Dynamic)Edge1 (LinkSub): First support edge.
  • Data (Dynamic)Edge2 (LinkSub): Second support edge.
  • Data (Dynamic)MainAxis (Vector): Main axis of the sketch.
  • Data (Dynamic)Parameter1 (Float): Parameter on first edge.
  • Data (Dynamic)Parameter2 (Float): Parameter on second edge.
