Description[edit | edit source]

The BIM Glue tool joins multiple selected object into a single non-parametric compound. The tool does not perform a boolean fusion, it simply merges the shapes of the selected objects into one object and removes the originals.

This is useful when you want to consolidate multiple objects into a single shape for further operations, or to simplify a complex model hierarchy.

Usage[edit | edit source]

  1. Select two or more objects in the 3D View or the Tree View.
  2. Select the Utils → Glue option from the menu.
  3. The original objects are merged into a single non-parametric object and then deleted.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The resulting object is non-parametric, it loses the parametric history of the original objects.
  • If you need to preserve parametric behavior, consider using BIM Compound instead.
