Description

The Sketcher BSplineComb tool shows or hides the B-spline curvature comb in all sketches. See this page for more information about B-splines.

The curvature comb indicates the curvature (value of the second-order derivative) of a B-spline. The higher the curvature, the longer its teeth are at that position. Where a B-spline curves to the right the comb is on its left side and vice versa.

B-spline with a saddle point at its middle, the curvature comb is zero there.

Usage

  1. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
    • Press the Show/hide B-spline curvature comb button.
    • Select the Sketch → Sketcher visual → Show/hide B-spline information layer → Show/hide B-spline curvature comb option from the menu.
