Concepts Clarification

For an experienced user some of these concepts may be obvious and self explanatory, however, for someone with no previous CAD experience they may not be so:

  • Common axis. Basic_Attachment_Tutorial#Preliminaries In: There is however an obvious axis from which all features are common.
    • I would also link the features concept to the glossary definition. It is really not obvious for a novice what you are meaning here. [[3]]

Possible inaccuracies

Here it is instructed to make a new sketch. However, it is not stated to create a new body and then create a new sketch inside it. For the inexperienced it could be understood that you must create the sketch in the previous body and then proceed to the next instructions. Simbioz (talk) 00:03, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

Here it reads:

Draw the triangle, make two sides equal and constrain...

Whereas a more clear approach could be:

Draw the triangle and make two sides equal. There should be two degrees of freedom remaining, they are the position with regards to the origin. Fix one of the corners to the origin so that the sketch looks thus:-

Now Pad the sketch and constrain the length the same way as you did the Pad Length only this time make the formula "Sketch.Constraints.width/2".
